Stories are written in a neutral, wire-service voice. Claims are attributed to their sources ("officials said", "according to NPR"), and analysis is attributed to named analysts or officials rather than asserted as the publication’s own opinion.
Headlines are drawn from a range of reputable, ideologically diverse outlets, and stories aim to draw on more than one source. The diversity of sources is part of how the coverage stays balanced.
We do not fabricate facts, quotes, or images. Photographs of real events are not generated; illustrations are labelled as illustrations. Correlation is not reported as causation. A second AI verifies each draft before publication.
